[classical piece]

Definitely has potential

I liked this piece generally, however I think the piano part could do with a bit of sprucing up (something more interesting than quaver piano chords in root position), and the sound balance is a little off, I think the melody is drowned by the backing. Really liked the second half of the piece. Could also do with an expansion, develop the melody, add a contrasting section perhaps?

These are just my opinions, but good attempt :D

Just a thought...

I quite like the feel of this piece, the beginning has a sort of tranquility to it, I think it's more effective when it's left a bit sparse.

As for where it's going to go, how about a ternary (ABA) form?
Your original theme, then a more bright and lively section, then return to your original theme, and either end or loop it, when there's not too much going on I can imagine it being like a "wandering round" music in an adventure game where there aren't things trying to kill you.

I'll stop rambling. Good job though :D
